- Dr. R. W. Alexander Jesudasan is a distinguished leader, renowned educator, prolific researcher, and skilled administrator with over 40 years of experience. Currently serving as the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science in Chennai, India, he previously held the position of Principal and Secretary at Madras Christian College. Dr. Jesudasan's expertise lies in Entomology, Pesticides, Applied Zoology, and Higher Education Enhancement, among other areas. He holds a Ph.D. and D.Sc. in Entomology from the University of Madras, along with an Honorary Ph.D. in Public Policy from Hanshin University, South Korea. Throughout his career, Dr. Jesudasan has received extensive training in Academic Excellence, Strategic Planning, Leadership, and Management Principles both nationally and internationally. He has authored and edited Books, a monograph, published 182 research articles, granted a german patent, executed funded research projects both from Government and corporate sectors and delivered addresses in scientific gatherings and meetings. Dr Jesudasan has served on prestigious Boards such as the one of CMC &H, Vellore and President, AIACHE, New Delhi for a term. He has travelled to 17 countries and to many parts of the country on academic assignments. He is serving as the Chairman, NAAC Peer Team.
