Description

Gold Silvano is the prelude, a combination of a comic and a narrative, that sets the stage to the forthcoming volumes of Kalaga, which form a vivid background to understanding the sequence of intricate plots and military strategies as exemplified in Gold Sandalwood Knight (Vol.2). Dan was progressively defied by the devil manifested through the character Coles (Dr. Coleman Parker) right from his first overtures in hampering the marriage of the Lord and the Lady to the bold conspiracy of forming his cult – The Owl, thereby challenging Dan in saving India from their threat of looting all historical artifacts and perpetrating illegal trade of Gold Sandalwood and essential forest resources.

In the episode: ‘The Dawn of Kalaga’, Dan challenges Coles to see who lasts at the end as a survivor. Though Dan and Stella hailed from Yorkshire, they were the torch-bearers of righteousness, royalty, and sacrifice to the town of Nerpulla in India.

The story culminates with the antagonist, The Old Man of the Cult, preparing himself for the coming of the native superhero Gold Silvano, who continues to pursue his role as the protector of the woods and a pioneer of a movement.

Through his artistic drawings and fluent narration, the author endorses the message of Social Integration and protection of natural heritage, environment, and animals, as seen in Gold Silvano’s own words, “Every tree out here is numbered.”
