Waterfall tourism refers to the practice of visiting waterfalls for recreational, aesthetic, and sometimes spiritual purposes. Waterfalls are natural wonders where water flows over a vertical drop or series of drops in a river or stream. They often create breathtaking scenes, with cascading water, mist, and surrounding natural beauty. India is home to numerous stunning waterfalls spread across the country, offering breathtaking views and recreational opportunities for tourists and locals alike. Tamil Nadu, located in the southern part of India, is home to several beautiful waterfalls. The research study focusses on the elements of tourism and tourist attractions in the waterfall destination, the demographic profile of the tourists’ visiting waterfalls, tourism facilities and services available, the cleanliness and hygiene conditions and the quality of services available in the hotels. Based on the findings of the research, suggestions and recommendations are provided and it would be highly useful for the tourism planners, tourism researchers, academicians, policy makers, and strategic managers of tourism industry.
