India is known the world over as ‘the home of spices’. Today it is the largest producer, consumer and second largest exporter of spices in the world. It is known as the home of spices and Indian spices has got a good name in the world market. The present study seeks to analyze the growth performance on quantity of major spices export in India and growth performance on value of major spices export in India. The study is based on secondary data obtained from reports of Annual Report, Indian Spices Board Statistics, Spices Board of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India (20000-01 To 2019-20). The analysis is based on the 20 years starting from 20000-01 To 2019-20 of major spices such as Pepper, Cardamom (small), Cardamom (Large), chilli, Ginger, Turmeric, Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Celery, Fennel, Nutmeg & Mace, Mint Products, Curry Products, Spice Oils And Oleoresins. The analysis was done by the use of SPSS and Excel. The study had analyzed using tables, percentages, Annual average growth rate, Mean, Standard deviation, coefficient of variation, t test, Time Series Analysis, Linear Trend model, Semi-log Model , Compound growth rate analyzing the data.
