Dear Teen

Dear Teen is a non-fiction and self-help book. It is based mostly on the author?s personal life experiences and is mainly addressed to teenagers and the ten topics discussed in it are intended to guide them in important areas in life that are not generally grasped through formal schooling. The book comprises two sections. The first section covers the topics that impose our life in general such as guardians, independence, opportunities, finances, love, purpose, achieving dreams, following instincts, and doing simple things to tackle the bumpy ride of adulthood ahead. The second section is a compilation of stories based on true incidents of teenagers. Each story has a lesson to be derived at the end The author is a full-time, single mother to two toddlers and an infant. She is also, a professional trader, traveler, and avid reader. Born in Kerala, India, and raised in an orthodox family she was awakened to the realities of life after her parents passed when she was still in her early teens. The struggles that ensued for more than two decades inspired the author to write this book. She has evolved from the lessons of every mistake as well as every blessing, by living one day at a time. With the help of her friends, the author also intends to guide and inspire lost, orphaned, and troubled teenagers through her foundation in the near future. Currently, she is working on her second book about spiritual alchemy.
