காகிதக் கதைகள் / Kaagitha Kathaigal

In an Age that is shifting phase towards Technology driven life experiences, our Human race 
and its purpose of existence is getting rewritten constantly; makes me question, if at all 
there is a destiny to reach in this chase behind innovations?  

Kaagitha Kadaighal is an ode to a timeline where there was writing and reading from paper 
or notes about glimpses of our life moment, captured in words. It is more of moments 
pictured through words rather a series of short stories. Our introspections, emotional 
baggage, realizations and questions that does not hesitate to humble or crumble us, gets 
captured in this book from various life perspective.  

For centuries we have been storytellers; grown up reading or listening to stories. What has 
changed in our narrative, is the rush culture and repulsiveness towards delayed gratification. 
The genes in our body have survived and travelled for centuries; as a species that is known 
to question its own life and existence, question what lies beyond the limits of the sky, has 
now been reduced to explore and exhaust the novelty. Everything we come across now is 
packaged and reaches us as a Novelty thing to keep our interest to explore go on and on.  

Literature is an art of its own, be it creating it or reading and experiencing it, sitting alone. As 
a writer, it is not the experience of reading my stories that I am bringing to your moment of 
peaceful me time but the experience of this habit that gets ourselves immersed between 
the pages on a serene World of ponderings, unable to turn pages despite knowing there is a 
novelty in the next page! A moment of stillness, where the reader has completely dissolved 
into the World within the book and has disconnected from the World around him.
