That is, applying fundamental theorems-based programming to develop plausible solutions to realistic circumstances. 
The former consists of 10 modules for active learning of fundamentals of Python programming. For example, how to create functions and classes in Python for determining plausible solutions to complex problems. Moreover, handling of input and output data files using with keywords, creating graphical plots using matplotlib, and exceptions handling are detailed for enhanced learning of Python. In the latter, 14 exceptional illustrative examples are described along with diverse nature of problem solving via Python based computing in digital engineering. For example, Newton’s law of cooling, Newton’s second law of motion, curve fitting and statistical analysis of parameter estimates, ideal gas law for determining mass density and specific volume of air, laminar flow of water in a tiny pipe, Argand diagram, Søren Sørensen’s pH scale, and so on. 
The first part of textbook essentially consists of 136 solved illustrative examples and 145 exercises in Python programming. Moreover, this textbook is beneficial for active learners in engineering who are willing to augment their programming skills in Python for problem solving, and researchers who are willing to enhance their innovative capabilities in creating programs to solve complex problems which arise in society.
