The Case of 1951

Nothing ever happens in the sleepy coastal town of 1987—until the files start freezing. Detective Alan and his partner Dave are dying of boredom inside their heavily secured, break-in-proof agency. To pass the time, they unearth a long-forgotten, unresolved cold case. They plan a picnic but are drawn into the whispering woods. There, Alan catches a terrifying, one-second glimpse of something  moving between the trees. Later joined by Celeste, the fierce granddaughter of the cold case victim, the detectives are plunged into a desperate race against time. From dodging a creature that vanishes into the moon to surviving a deadly game of chess where the price of checkmate is a bullet to the brain, the trio uncovers a dark, cosmic reality. Beneath the perched sea caves there is somthing lying cause the air to be dense! When a crimson Blood Moon rises, unleashing blood rain and an apocalyptic sub-zero freeze, the final war begins at the town's old lighthouse. But whatever that creature is, it is a brilliant strategist. He doesn't just kill; he evolves. With every life he consumes, he grows more human, igniting a pair of piercing, blood-red eyes inside his dark hood as he mutates into a towering twenty-foot giant. Caught in a fatal crossfire between a massive lighthouse beam and the blinding morning sunrise, the monster is forced to flee—but the game is far from over. He knows their names, he can finally see them, and he is waiting for the next dark night.
