Life is a tapestry of countless choices, moments that demand decisions which ultimately shape our paths and define who we become. Some choose the road of honesty, compassion, and integrity, while others are tempted by greed, pride, vengeance, or selfishness. We must always realise that each decision is a thread that shapes the pattern of our existence. Yet, in the pursuit of desire, power, or convenience, many stray from the path of righteousness, making choices that harm others, compromise their integrity, or defy moral law. This book is a narrative that explores the haunting reality of two siblings raised in a minimalistic way. It follows their journey as they initially crave to change their lives by shunning their poor, hardworking parents who were trying incredibly hard to raise their children in a good way with a good education. The siblings, Ashi and Arhaan, wanted different and affluent lives and tried to rise up the rungs to success by making all the wrong choices. But then, such decisions are never without consequence. Though the wrong path may offer temporary rewards, power, wealth, or satisfaction, it is often those who betray others, exploit the innocent, or ignore the voice of conscience usually find that their triumph is fleeting. The joy they seize is hollow, and the suffering they cause circles back to them in unexpected and often devastating ways paved with deception and harm to others and oneself. This book reflects on those choices and the wrong ones for which Ashi and her brother Arhaan had to pay a dreadful price.  It is about the invisible forces of justice that catch up with those who believe they can escape the moral consequences of their actions.
Across time and tradition, the idea of Divine retribution has served as both a warning and a truth. It is the belief that a higher power, which we call the Divine God, the universe, or fate, ensures that wrongdoing is met with a fitting consequence. Unlike human justice, Divine retribution is not bound by courts or laws; it is patient, precise, and often poetic in its delivery, ensuring that the punishment fits the crime in a way that only the Divine can orchestrate.
This book is not merely a tragic story of the self-centred siblings but a profound meditation on the moral order that governs our lives. It invites readers to look beyond the surface of success and downfall to see the patterns of cause and effect that often go unnoticed until the end is revealed. Through these pages, you will witness how wrong choices made in haste, arrogance, ignorance, or defiance ultimately lead to ruin when Divine justice unfolds. I have not written this book to condemn anyone but to awaken the soul to the truth: every action has a consequence. In the grand design of life, no one truly escapes the judgment of what they say and do.
