VALLEY OF PEACE S. GEMOLO VALGANNA FRONTEVERSISMO®️

This book, presented in both Italian and English, tells the story of a remarkable place and its centuries-old museum: the Badia of San Gemolo in Ganna, in the Province of Varese, Italy, whose origins date back to the 11th century.

It also explores the meaning and symbolism of the seven *Fronteverismo* paintings by Giuseppe Siniscalchi, which have been on permanent display at the abbey since January 2026.

The book seeks to draw attention to this extraordinary landscape, where natural beauty, history, art, and spirituality come together in a unique cultural heritage. Inspired by the values of peace, culture, environmental stewardship, and artistic expression, it invites visitors and readers alike to rediscover the significance of these exceptional places.

It is hoped that the Badia of San Gemolo will become an international cultural hub along the historic Via Francisca and Via Francigena pilgrimage routes, which begin in northern Europe, cross Switzerland, and continue south through Italy, fostering dialogue, creativity, and shared cultural understanding among people from around the world.
